Summary: What's the most inoffensive video game enemy ever, aside from Nazis and robots? Demons, of course! So after that philosophy made the most iconic FPS of all time, you'd expect there to be a really good movie based off of hahahahahahahahaha!!! Have you been paying attention? Video game movies suck! Most of the time, at least...

History: Somewhere on Mars, experimentation has been taking place. Experimentation regarding a 24th chromosome and properties of Hell, that is! Alas, the Martian facility became overrun with mutant demon people, and in the middle of it all, a wormhole known as the Ark opened up in underground Nevada, giving a squadron of soldiers a means of investigation...and the monsters a way of getting into our world.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: One of the few survivors gets fueled by the C24, and after a badass first-person sequence of him mowing down demons, he confronts the Possessed Sarge, tosses him into the Ark, and seals it shut (blowing him up for good measure).

Powers/Abilities: Many of the demonic beasts can infect people with the C24, which empowers those with strong wills, but mutates those with violent tendencies. They are also quite resilient to pain.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-It wouldn't be a game based off the gory and visceral delight of "Doom" if it weren't as visceral and harrowing. The demonic mutants look exceptionally good, especially the grotesque Hell Knights. Pinky is also a stand-out even if he's a bit inferior effects-wise, but "horned devil monster symbiotically attached to a wheelchair" is an idea worthy of a terror ovation.

Trivia: -"Doom" was made by George Romero himself alongside Id Software, and is regarded as one of the precursors of the FPS genre. Sadly, after finding success in the "Quake" franchise as well, Romero would direct one of the most arrogantly marketed and worthlessly delayed games of all time, this side of "Duke Nukem: Forever". That being "Daikatana". He hasn’t made a video game ever since.

-Unlike this film, the monsters from the game are simply demons from Hell, not mutants. Granted, the more famous demons like the Cyberdemon and the Spider Mastermind are combinations of demon and machine, but genetics never came into the picture.

This has to be a glitch...this movie, that is.

It is a fact of Hell that the Hell Knights will always look cool.

Well, this demon's dead.

"Couldn't...stop...the TMNT..."

"WHAT CAN I SAAAAY EXCEPT...YOU'RE NOT WELCOME!"

A terrifying reminder for demons everywhere that an even more savage Doomguy is going to rise...
"SECOND AMENDMEEEEEENT!"

Not sure if they get nerfed or buffed in the remake.
